In celebration of our new studio space in Laguna Hills, California, we're hosting a simple and fun contest with a sweet prize package. Some of our local neighboring businesses have donated generously toward the grand prize basket, so please take a moment to check them out too. 

HOW TO ENTER:

There are several ways to enter: - here on the blog, on Instagram, or on Facebook. It's a simple guessing game. Answer the question:

How many images are in the container?

We've stuffed all kinds of media into it: old slides, film negative strips, floppy discs, printed photos, and contact sheets. There are no movie reels. We've carefully counted and kept track of everything we added. Keep in mind that we counted each image separately so for example, if there is a film strip with four images on it, that counts as 4. One slide counts as 1, and a floppy disc with 27 images counts as 27. Scroll down this blog post to see more detailed photos of what's inside.

The number of times and methods you can enter are as follows:

• On this blog post in the comments section, enter your name and your guess (only one guess person)
• On Instagram - Follow @heartprintimages, find the container on our Insta page, tag a friend with their Instagram name in the comments and make your guess. You can guess as many times as you'd like on Instagram as long as a different friend is tagged each time. Tagged friends must have an actual account on Instagram and preferably by SoCal local in case they decide to enter as well. If we find that entries are tagged with fake accounts, all guesses you've entered will be disqualified. If you tag the same friend more than once, all of your entries will be disqualified. Basically - play fair!
• On Facebook, "Like" Heartprint Images at https://facebook.com/heartprintimages and find the Container post. Basically do the same as you would on Instagram by Liking our page then tagging a friend and entering a guess.

CONTEST DURATION:

The contest will run from May 9, 2016 - May 24, 2016 at midnight PST. Winner will be announced on May 25, 2016. 

HOW THE WINNER IS DETERMINED:

The person who guesses closest to the actual number of images WITHOUT going over that number will be the winner as long as they are the only correct guess. In the event that more than one person guesses correctly or is as close as another guess, those duplicate entries will go into a hat and one name will be randomly chosen as the Grand Prize Winner. The winner will be determined and announced on Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:

Prizes are from local Southern California businesses, and may be redeemed as stated on each vendors' voucher that winner will receive. The prize package will be available for pickup at the Heartprint Images' studio in Laguna Hills once winner is announced.
