I create portraits and take candid shots at your home or an outdoor venue in Orange County, California. Scenic parks and beaches provide excellent backdrops for your session. My style is relaxed, yet focused, so that we maximize our time together. Within 10 days, the edited best shots from your session will be ready to view from your secure online gallery.
Depending on the package you purchase, your full resolution files will be available to download right from your private, password-protected gallery, or will be loaded onto an archival CD, or both. You'll also receive a professional photo release, giving you all rights to your images, enabling you to have prints created at the local or online lab of your choice. You may also order prints from the professional print lab associated with your gallery, if you wish.
Special requests for portrait touchup (beyond basic) and image artistry may also be made after the initial viewing of the images from the session. Additonal charges will apply.
The Full Heart: This session is the one to choose when you want plenty of time for varied and creative shots. Choose your home, a local park or lake and get ready to have fun!
Your finished gallery will include lots of candid and posed shots from which you choose your favorite dozen images to download. Archive, print and share wherever, whenever, and however you'd like.

One Hour Session - $225 for up to four people. Each additional 30 minutes - $50 $15 per person above four in group. I love capturing pet(s) too, but they require more time and effort, so add $25 for each pet.

Seasonal Mini Sessions Several times each year, Heartprint Images offers these special sessions to families and other groups who want a few shots, perhaps for Christmas cards, or to keep your children's portraits current. The sessions are pre-scheduled in beautiful locations.
You can also get a group of neighbors or friends together to create your own Mini Session and I can help you with that too. Each group receives a private viewing gallery and three images to download. Local venues: $85 for up to 4; Beach: $150 Add $15 for each additional person; $25 per pet

Beach Portraits: Give me 90 minutes of your time on a beautiful California evening, and I'll give you a collection of portraits that will be treasured by you and your loved ones for decades to come. This special Laguna Beach session is timed in the late afternoon so that we get plenty of sandy feet, fun-in-the-water candids, as well as shots during the "golden hour" when the sun gets low and casts that beautiful soft light.
This relaxed session provides ample time for wardrobe changes, bathroom breaks and baby feedings/changings. We're also able to get a nice variety of backdrops, including those from the high bluff overlooking the ocean, pretty foilage, as well as the sand, rocks and waves that you want.
We finish your session as the sun disappears on the horizon, allowing us to capture sweet silhouttes of your family and sunset portraits. You receive your favorite 15 portraits from your session, along with a license giving you control over your images. $375
Senior Portraits High school graduation happens just once on your life, and there is no better way to celebrate your achievement than by capturing who you are in this moment in time with beautiful photographs.
Arrive at our scheduled location on one of three outfits for your session. Don't forget to bring your cap and gown as one of your wardrobe changes, along with any special awards, uniforms, sporting equipment or other props that you'd like included. Mommy & Me Moments We've all heard it a thousand times..."kids grow up so fast." I'm learning how true this statement is as I watch my own grow out of shoes each season. Those tender, fun, carefree moments while our kids are little and we take them to parks to play is very short, as I now realize.
There were many times when I would be swinging with my kids, or playing tag, or ring-around-the-rosy and I'd think, "I wish someone was here right now to take a picture of us having fun like this - to capture not only my kids as they are, but also me with them." I'm passionate about giving Moms (and Dads & Grandparents) these types of portraits for their photo albums and scrapbooks. Let's schedule an hour or two in the park so we can get those memories in print - before they start asking for car keys and to stay out past curfew.

I know from experience how challenging it can be to host a party and try to get all the photos I want at the same time. Greeting guests, monitoring the food and beverages, corralling the kids, organizing games, lighting the cake AND taking good pictures is difficult, and as the photographer you’re rarely in the shots.

Impromptu Shots
Living life provides plenty of opportunity to capture heartprint moments not only for my own family, but for others as well. Sometimes I’ll photograph families having fun at the beach or players in action during the sporting events and other activities in which my kids are involved. I then upload the photos into a private, password protected gallery where parents can access them.
I have a great deal of sensitivity when it comes to taking candid shots, especially of children, and I’ll always maintain security and privacy while giving people the opportunity to get that shot they might have otherwise missed.
During an Award Ceremony at school I saw a sweet exchange between parents and their daughter unfolding and caught it! Upon seeing the picture, Mom, Julie Freese, said, "it wasan incredible, unexpected moment of pride and joy that will last a lifetime in our hearts and forever in this photograph. We didn't even know you took the picture, but are sure glad you did."
